All-New GMC Envoy Denali Awarded To Home & Garden Television's Dream Home 2005 Giveaway Winner

DETROIT - GMC, the Professional Grade division of General Motors, today awarded Don and Shelly Cruz of Batavia, Illinois an all-new 2005 Envoy Denali as part of the brand’s partnership with Home & Garden Television (HGTV) and the ninth annual HGTV Dream Home 2005 Giveawaysm.
The Envoy Denali is part of a grand prize package that includes a fully furnished, custom-built home with more than 5,000 square feet of living area and a dockside guest house overlooking Lake Tyler in Texas worth $1 million in addition to other prizes.

The Envoy Denali continues the trend of continuous refinement with premium styling appointments including the signature chrome-plated Denali honeycomb grille, body-color side moldings, body-color outside mirrors (heated and with integrated turn signal indicator), and polished forged aluminum 17-inch wheels. Nuance leather seats immediately signal the accommodating environments of the Envoy Denali while selective use of satin nickel and burl wood grain accents also complement the upscale passenger compartment.

The 2005 promotion marks the third year GMC has sponsored the Dream Home Giveaway and is a part of GMC's home life platform that successfully aligns GMC's lineup of professional grade trucks with home improvement enthusiasts.

One of the most successful consumer promotions in cable TV history, HGTV viewers could enter to win the sweepstakes by mail or online at HGTV.com where 360-interactive tours could be taken of the Dream Home and an Envoy Denali. Approximately 39.1 million entries were received for the 2005 Giveaway, up nine percent from the 2004 sweepstakes.
